Hello! My name is Rebecca — pleased to meet you. I'm a prairie girl who has been living on beautiful Vancouver Island for over five years, and I've fallen completely in love with its gardens.
I studied forest biology before being drawn into the world of growing things — from professional landscaping to organic production farming to municipal parks work. That background shapes how I approach every garden: with curiosity, patience, and a genuine respect for what's already there.
Rosehip Gardening Services is my own thing, finally — just me, your garden, and a Honda Fit full of electric tools. No crews, no gas equipment, no rush. I work quietly and carefully, and I take pride in leaving a yard better than I found it.
I'm especially drawn to gardens with a bit of wildness to them — places that feel alive rather than just maintained. If that sounds like your yard, I'd love to come and tend it.
When you hire Rosehip Gardening Services, you get me — every visit. I learn your garden over time, remember what you like, and build a real relationship with the space.
All my tools are battery-powered. No gas fumes, no engine noise — just the sound of the garden. Your neighbours will thank you.
